CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Vinyasa is a unique series of postures linked to the rhythm of your breath. Ideal for beginners and experienced yogis it involves a flowing series of postures to help you build strength, flexibility and inner peace.

Restorative Yoga is a very gentle form of yoga focused on relaxing the body in restful postures, giving it an opportunity to renew and heal.
 
Beginners 6 week course progresses from week to week starting at the very beginning and each class will build on the previous class. You will learn the fundamentals of Vinyasa yoga practice so that you can confidently and safely join all-levels classes at Tamara Yoga. 

Pre-natal Yoga delivers endless benefits for pregnant mothers: greater strength, better flexibility and sense of well being, improved sleep and digestion, lower occurrences of back pain, sciatica and depression- and importantly it can help aid the labour process.

Children's Yoga is playful, creative and joyful. Yoga develops children's balance, posture and co-ordination. Children improve their ability to relax and concentrate.

Teen Yoga is fun and invigorating. Yoga for teens develops a strong body, focused mind and peaceful heart. A makeover for the body, mind and spirit. 

Individual instruction - Yoga traditionally has been taught one on one. A private class enables you to progress at your own rate, with instruction and hands on adjustments designed specifically to deepen your practice. Classes are tailored specifically to your needs. Individual classes are especially helpful for those with injuries or specific health concerns and those wishing to take their practice to a new level.
