Restorative postures literally restore the body. Restorative postures are calming and soothing to the body and mind. The bolster provides softness and support and informs the body to soften and release tension. Such a practice encourages us to relax at a deep level and to let go of clinging or gripping. This rests the body and mind and is deeply rejuvenating.
