This program consists of 3 individual, intensive, residential blocks of training over a period of 12 months. The program can be studied as one-off modules to deepen your yoga practice (choose Part A or B) or as a step towards teaching yoga registering for the 200hour Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia Provisional Level (choose Part A and B), or for already provisionally registered teachers who need to upgrade to register as a Level 1 teacher (choose A, B or C), or as a complete one year yoga teacher training programme (choose Part A and B and C)

The next intensive, residential module / One Year Program commences July 1, 2012:

 

Part A - July  1, 2012 - Bali 9 days,

 

Part B - January 11, 2013 - Margaret River 10 days

 

Part C - May 9, 2013 - Margaret River 10 days

 

For those taking their very first steps towards yoga teacher training: Successful completion of Parts A and B enables immediate Yoga Alliance 200hr registration and membership at the provisional level with Yoga Australia.

Successful completion of Parts A, B and C is a complete Tamara Yoga Teacher Training programme that meets the 350hour standards of Yoga Australia and enables immediate membership at Level 1 with Yoga Australia.  Successful graduates of Part A, B and C will be recognized Tamara Yoga Certified teachers.

For provisional teachers that have completed 200 hour training and need to upgrade their qualifications to register for Level 1 with Yoga Australia if you meet the standards for acceptance for Tamara Yoga Teacher Training and enrol for Part A or B or C upon successful completion you will be eligible to register for Yoga Australia Level 1.

The One Year Program includes teacher training lectures covering all subjects of the complete Tamara Yoga Teacher Training Course. During the 12 months required reading and written assignments are required. This inspirational program enables you to deepen and enrich your personal practice while you acquire the skills and confidence necessary to teach yoga and offers you flexible options in terms of timing. The curriculum covers training in the practice of asana, pranayama, kriyas and mantra techniques as well as studies in meditation, anatomy, physiology, philosophy and ethics, Yoga Sutra, Tantra, Chakras and Ayurveda. Further areas of study will be teaching methodology with practice demonstrations, observation, instruction in teaching and learning styles, as well as asana alignment and adjustments.
