The complete Tamara Yoga Teacher Training can be completed in stages via retreat.
The 10 day residential modules- Parts A, B, C and D and the Tamara Yoga retreats are particularly suited to country students.
The one year residential module program consists of 3 intensive, residential blocks of training over a period of 12 months.
The next One Year TT Program commences July 1, 2012:
Successful completion of Parts A, B and C enables immediate membership at Level 1 with Yoga Australia. Successful completion of Parts A and B only, enables immediate membership at Provisional Level with Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance 200hr.
*Note: Membership at Provisional Level with Yoga Australia will require the completion of Part C (or equivalent) within 3 years – leading to membership at Level 1. For your convenience, over the following 3 years, this upgrade module will be offered as weekday classes or a 10 day intensive residential.

The One Year Program includes teacher training lectures covering all subjects of the complete Tamara Yoga Teacher Training Course. During the 12 months required reading and written assignments are required. This inspirational program enables you to deepen and enrich your personal practice while you acquire the skills and confidence necessary to teach yoga and offers you flexible options in terms of timing. The curriculum covers training in the practice of asana, pranayama, kriyas and mantra techniques as well as studies in meditation, anatomy, physiology, philosophy and ethics, Yoga Sutra, Tantra, Chakras and Ayurveda. Further areas of study will be teaching methodology with practice demonstrations, observation, instruction in teaching and learning styles, as well as asana alignment and adjustments.
We reccomend that counrty students unable to attend regular classes at the studio attend yoga retreats in addition to Tecaher Training residential modules. For more information regarding the general yoga retreats look under Retreats.
